Little Christmas tree, no one to buy you, give yourself to me ...
Finally! The decoration has been adorned with trimmings. The most difficult part of the process was making sure the ribbon spans the entire length of the tree, and that the Christmas lights should also adequately cover the tree. We did not put that many lights in it; I used 5 cords of lights with 100 bulbs each, totaling 500 white, steady lights.
The fun part was putting in the balls, icicles, poinsettias, and the Looney Tunes figures. I still have M&M characters but my wife said the tree is already over-decorated. Hmmm... I'll sneak in a couple of these figures every night until they're all hanging on the tree... hope she doesn't read this ...

Sige na nga, bagamat maaga pa e, Meri christmas to you. :-)
ReplyDeleteSalamat Tito Rolly! Sa hirap ng pagtayo ng Christmas tree na to, we figured we might as well enjoy it for 2 months. hahaha.
ReplyDeleteOnly in the Philippines :-)
Display mo tapos hopefully the others will catch on and buy trinkets na kahit pa-isa-isa para isabit. By Christmas, makulay na sya!
ReplyDeleteHi Watson! Thanks for dropping by my site, and thanks for linking my hardin.
ReplyDeleteI remember the first time we had a Christmas tree here (pinutol yun, tunay), pagkatapos ng Jan 6, niligpit ko na kasi di ba sabi nila Pinoy daw pinakamahaba ang celebration ng Pasko? Pero traditionally, my hubby's family gets the trees after Thanksgiving, at the same time we make wreaths.
